SS0000〜SS7000 series, available from SER, are standard types of SCREW MACHINED SOCKET (Pin Receptacle). The sockets are suitable for various applications such as the Board-to-Board Connectors, Pin Grid IC Sockets and Lead Pin Connectors.

The basic contact element of the sockets is the Multi-Finger Contact or Hand-Drum Contact. It has the best performance on Contact Grid Characteristics, stable contact resistance on Vibration Test and highest Loading Endurance.

The socket tails consists of three different types:　Solder Tail, Open Tail and Closed Tail. Solder Tail type has a flange that makes it easy to fix on the PCB housing and is the most applicable to Multi-Pin connectors.
SER responds to customer’ s request of special used specification, mold based multi-pin lead connectors and also customized connectors.
